Apple's Weird Pocket: 🤯 A Retro iPhone Surprise!
Tech & Science
Apple is introducing a stylish new accessory for the iPhone: the iPhone Pocket. Designed as a modern interpretation of the classic iPod Socks, this item utilizes a single piece of 3D-knitted fabric to create a comfortable, wearable pocket. Developed in collaboration with the renowned Issey Miyake studio – the same team behind Steve Jobs’ iconic turtleneck – the iPhone Pocket offers a convenient way to keep your iPhone close at hand. Priced at $149.95 for the short strap version and $229.95 for the longer strap, the design allows for discreet glances at your screen without fully removing the device. Crafted from a surprisingly stretchy fabric, the iPhone Pocket can be attached to a handbag, worn over the shoulder, or even on the wrist. This limited-edition release represents an interesting step for Apple, marking the company’s first foray into releasing a “limited-time” accessory. Initially available online in the US, UK, France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, and also on display in a select number of Apple Stores, the short strap version comes in a range of vibrant colors – lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black. The longer strap is available in sapphire, cinnamon, and black.
